I am a 25 year old artist based in New England. I work with a variety of different mediums and I am most interested in illustration and portraiture. My work is focused on my complex, personal relationship with post-Soviet nations. Confusing emotions about my connections by blood, profession, and language to that world are portrayed through the mixing of the digital world and reality. I often use letters and phrases from the Russian and Georgian languages to emphasize how intertwined the two (completely different) languages can be, in the brain and in social practice.
